these companies exist to make money providing a service that should be free,so none of them.

if your in the UK there are free services that can do the same thing, check your local council for debt advice.
you have to do more work but they tell you exactly what to do.

yeah, BK attys should be free and so should accountants, divorce attys and hell the local car wash! I do not see why a service such a debt relief should be FREE?? There is no basis for it, we (anyways I) do live in the USA and last time I checked we were a capitalist country- not communist/socialist. Your kids lemonade stand charges you for a cup lemonade but these guys are talking about companies reducing your debt should be free?? why isn’t credit counseling free?? Why can’t you get a free debt consolidation loan?? because it is utterly ridiculous and ignorant in nature to say.

truth is sometimes you need a professional to do this “service” for you and if you find a reputable company then it may be worth your while provided they are reasonable and fair in their fee structure AND that you understand the way the process works. I went through this process with a company that treated me fair and did a great job for me so I won’t throw all companies under the buss like these other 2 people who responded are.

and no one answered your question about Freedom Debt Relief. They are HUGE, so that scares me as they probably run like a mill and don’t care about one client. 2) Google them “freedom debt relief complaints” and see how many law suits and issues you find with them. Also they are national, I would find a local company by searching the BBB in your area. Again, not ALL these companies are bad but a huge amount of them are less than above board.

Hope this gives you an even answer instead of one siding like the other 2 who didn’t even answer your question about Freedom Debt.

Freedom Debt Relief Review
Yes, I considered many debt relief options and decided that they are the best for debt settlement.

What Freedom Debt Relief basically does is get you a plan to lower your debts about in half to get you out of debt in around 2 or 3 years. For me, that is much shorter time than paying debts on my own (which would take me like 15 years) and saved me about $ 20,000 from what it would have cost me on my own.

I also looked at credit counseling, but neither is good for credit scoring so I think the one that is best is the lowest cost and lowest payment. Freedom is a good company and has been really truthful and honest with me, even when sometimes it’s not fun to get out of debt.

I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief highly.

As an expert in debt settlement, I would echo this conviction above. Debt Settlement is for consumers with real debt problems who need help getting over a debt burden. In that case, any company that is certified with TASC and IAPDA screened or a member of another association that conforms to industry standards such as USOBA is a good strategy. Freedom is a good one with a good reputation.

Debt settlement is definitely a good option for certain consumers. The pros are total payback, length of payback, and monthly payback. The cons are credit rating and ability to use credit while in the program. The cons should be less of a concern for distressed consumers as your intent is to get out of debt, not accrue more. Freedom Debt Relief is a solid company. You would be hard pressed to find a better one.
